Account & data deletion

There are two ways to do this. The first is immediate and needs no email.

Fastest way: in the app

Open QIZU and go to Settings → Delete account. After you type DELETE to confirm, your account and all your data — sets, cards and statistics — are permanently deleted from our servers, immediately and on all your devices.

Using QIZU without signing in? Delete account works there too: it wipes everything stored under your anonymous identifier from our servers and removes that identifier itself, immediately. The email route below cannot locate anonymous data, since nothing links it to you — the in-app button is the only way to delete it.

An active QIZU+ subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account — Google Play manages billing separately. Cancel it first under Google Play subscriptions.

Alternatively: by email

Write to hi@QIZU.net from the email address linked to your account.
Use the subject line DELETE ACCOUNT.
By default, all accounts associated with your email address for apps published by a51.io will be deleted — mention QIZU in the message if you only want this app's data removed.

What happens next

In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are processed within up to 5 business days.
Deletion is permanent — sets, cards and statistics cannot be recovered.
Residual copies in operational backups are purged within up to 365 days.
